Welcome to the website of East Coast Contesters from glorious Hawke’s Bay in New Zealand’s North Island, famous for wine ... and ZM2M. Being slightly West of the International Date Line means this is one of the first places in the world to see the dawn of a new day.
We are a contest group, not simply a radio club. Contesting is what binds us together and gets us going. It’s what makes us tick. That’s not to say we don’t enjoy ourselves while doing it though! We regularly enter the main international contests such as CQ WW and WPX, plus the Jock White ZL Field Day and other Oceania/Pacific events.
